A few weeks ago we celebrated Ruby's Baptism up at Crystal Mountain. Here is how the day went.
The morning started out with Oliver and Kelly getting some turns on the mountain
Then they met up with the rest of us on the gondola
Grandma, Dad, Mom, Brother and Sister riding up the mountain
Grandpa and Grandma with Ruby
Ruby and her God Parents - Arnie and Katie
At the top of the mountain, we had lunch before the service. Glad to be inside, because it was windy and snowing outside those walls
Oliver showing off his card tricks
Back down at the bottom of the mountain, Ruby is getting her Baptism dress and new bracelet from Grandma Joan on
As we wait for the service to begin, some other skiers make their way into the chapel and are waving to Ruby in excitement for the day's festivities.
Below are photos from the Baptism
After the Baptism, it was time for pictures. Here is Grandma Karen and Grandpa Jim all smiles with Ruby
Getting snuggle by both grandmas
Ruby and her Godparents
At least more than 1/2 of us were looking at the same camera
Parents, Godparents, and Father Anderson
Add the grand parents and Oliver
After the ceremony, we went into the brown bag lunch room and had some celebration cupcakes.
Here is the whole crew eating their treats
Big bite for Ruby...big day!
Brian Wendt came up to join us for the baptism and made a stop for some cupcakes too
After the cupcakes were consumed, we sent Ruby down with the grandparents for nap time and we hit the slopes all afternoon! Great day and congratulations Ruby!
