Weekend activities

This weekend was filled with a quick trip to Portland to visit Great Grandma Elsie, a visit to the dog park with Bogey, and dinner with Kendall and parents. Below are some pictures that captured the busy weekend.

Trains, Trains, and More Trains

Our little man is into trains these days in a major way. He's really into Thomas the Train and friends. Thus, he has named many of us different Thomas the Train characters:
Oliver is Thomas
Daddy is Gordon
Mommy is James
Grandma Joan is Claire-a-belle

We rolled into Hood River a little early so we grabbed a late lunch...yes it was game day for the Dawgs and Oliver was ready to cheer them on.


This is a great shot of what the floor upstairs was like all weekend - a crazy mess - but the view was not so messy - it was awesome.


The dads took the kids on New Years day for a walk around town...we walked by all the shops, walked down to look at the trains, and ended at Full Sail Brewery

Here is what dinner looked like at the kids table...it wasn't always this calm.

The house we rented had a great hallway downstairs with a ton of space. We brought down all the tubes and tents for a bit of fun. Half way down the hall was the movie room with an 80 inch projection screen...cool

New Years 2011

Another New Years celebration and another fun location with the Kruse, Leptich, Tamayo, and Brown families. This year we all headed to Hood River, OR for some fun in the brisk air!

We headed up to Cooper Spur - a local ski hill - for some sledding on New Year's Eve. Oliver and Hayden laughing it up!

We headed into the little lodge after fun in the snow for some hot chocolate...someone needed to lick up every last drop.
