Ruby Clarie Stevens

We are so excited to introduce Ruby Claire Stevens, who was born on Sept 12th at 10:06am. She came to us a little early in her 37th week - all 8 lb 6 oz and 20 inches of her - but we fell in love with her right away. Here are a few photos from the first few days of Ruby's life...

I'm here!

Mom and Ruby shortly after birth

Aren't they beautiful?

Shortly after birth, Ruby had the luxury of getting a tour of the hospital including a 2 day stay in the NICU. Here is mom figuring out how to change Ruby in the yurt that she was staying in.

It was tough the first couple of days because there wasn't a ton of snuggle time. It sure was nice to start being able to hold her more and give her lots of love.

Dad's turn!

Oliver came to visit Ruby on the third day once they removed a few of the tubes helping to make Ruby get better. He was so proud to be a big brother - even if this photo doesn't make you think that...

Mom, Oliver, and Henrietta (the train car that Oliver is holding and also the train name O has given Ruby) on the way to the NICU to visit Ruby

Ruby finally gets all tubes removed - yeah!

She also had to spend some time under the lights...

NOW WE JUST RECEIVED WORD THAT WE ARE GETTING OUT OF HERE TODAY!!! YEAH - time to come home and get the whole family together!
