10 year HS crew predictions

Back in late 1999, the old high school crew got together to fill out a questionnaire that was to be opened 10 years later. Questions about themselves, the other people, and how the world would be different. Although it's 2012 and not 2010, we were able to bring the majority of the crew back together the other weekend for a nice evening with the adults and a great family morning time at the park.

Fun group photo at the park

Brandon Stanley was in Dubai so we skyped him in to be a part of the gathering

4th of July

We kicked off the 4th of July with a neighborhood parade at our friends house out in Redmond. A local firetruck and aid car visited with us for 20 minutes before taking us and the kids in the neighborhood on a 2 block parade. See some photos below:

While the rest of the people were huddled around the firetruck to learn about it, Oliver found it to be a good time to sneak off and grab a cookie.

Ruby turns 9 months old...a month ago

Yes, Ruby turned 9 months old almost a month ago, but we were delayed in uploading the photos...so are some of the photos. It's definitely getting more difficult to take a photo of her sitting still and holding the sign.

More backyard fun...

Although we are still waiting for a constant summer, we've been playing outside as much as possible and the new addition of a play structure for Oliver has helped. Being that we are using the space at the back of the yard more that previous, we decided to put in a stone patio...see below:

Oliver and Ruby getting their swing on!

So fun...

Finished product with a few additions to come - paver sand in the cracks and some plants around the path to the patio

First night of many that will include a fire in the pit and some smores!

Father's Day

Father's day 2012 was a change of pace from the last few years. It's usually a day focused on golf, but this year Father's Day was kicked off with a 3 hour bike ride of dads followed by an amazing brunch. Below is a picture of the biking dads and their kiddos.

Yes, we did succeed in getting the kids to all sit together

Mike's Bday

Someone turned 35 in June. Here are a few photos in celebration...

Ruby all dressed up and looking pretty

Oliver making sure his dad's back is still nice and strong

Ruby is a bit lighter than big O on the shoulders, but watch out - she likes to pull hair. Luckily there isn't much left on the top of that head.

Ruby - in order to help blow out the candle...you need to remove the pacifier.

The following day - we decided to hit Woodinville Wine Country with some friends
