First Day of School...AKA Toddler Group

Oliver began his first day of the Woodinville Toddler Group today. He had SOOOO much fun playing with new toys, doing new activities and meeting new friends.

Oregon Weekend trip

This last weekend we went on a little road trip to Oregon. First stop was Portland to visit Grandpa Bryan and Grandma Tami.

While driving - I had great company to help keep me awake...Kelly was copying Oliver too!


Portland is such a neat city to get around in. Here is Oliver checking out the train we just jumped off of. He likes anything that makes a VROOM sound!


We also checked out a cool little park in SE Portland that had a merry-go-round. We didn't spin it too quickly - but Oliver had a ton of fun.


Of coures you can't go to the park without testing out the swings...


On Saturday we made the drive down to Corvallis to see Uncle Steve and Aunt Rachel. It was quite hot down there so Uncle Steve and Oliver played in the fountains.


It was so hot that after a walk around town we found some air conditioned restaurant to cool off in - hey no shirt, no shoes, no service...I guess since he's so cute they let us slide on this rule.


After cooling off a bit - the Beavs jersey was put back on.


How about this for fun? Saturday night the city threw a wine/shopping night where local wineries set up testing in different shops around downtown. It's not often to see a stoller around town carrying wine glasses.

Last week adventures...

Last week brought us more cool adventures...

Oliver loves to play in the water, whether the water is in a pool, bathtub, fountain, dog bowl, watering can - you name it. Here is mom and son checking out a water fountain at U Village.

We better kid proof the whole neighborhood - he can get anywhere and everywhere!

Fun with a box...

Today we had some fun with big box. With some crayons, a plastic plate, and some double stick tape - the ordinary box turned into a fast and safe school bus.

After we finished driving the bus - we played a bit of hide and seek.

Butcher Block

As many of you know - we've been in the midst of a kitchen remodel. This past week we had out newest countertop installed - butcher block. Here are a few new photos - we love it! More projects to come...

13 Months Old

August Adventures

August has brought the Stevens family many adventures - here are a few of them...

Many hours playing in the backyard including dips in the little pool, carrying the golf club around, and riding on the Kawasaki...vrrooooooommm.


We've also taken many trips down to the park. This was a trip with Grandma Joan and the cool wagon that Oliver received from her for his birthday!


"Hey dad - when can I swing on this? I can do it - I'll hold on I promise!


We also attended Conner Dunfield's 1st birthday this month. Here is the birthday boy enjoying his cake.
