Carrie and Ian's Vermont Wedding Weekend!
Mike, Oliver and I (and our traveling nannies...aka Grandma Karen and Jean Guthrie...see below) headed over to Burlington, Vermont for our dear friend Carrie's wedding to the wonderful Ian Wyatt. The wedding was at their home in Huntington, just outside of Burlington.

The Bride, Carrie, holding Mr. Oliver in front of her beautiful home.

Carrie, Sue and I enjoying the view from the boat cruise on Lake Champlain.

The family out on the deck of the boat....it got a bit dark and windy out there!

Oliver and his mom.

Oliver and Dad.

Another Family photo...

Mike contemplating his brew of choice.

Oliver in the hands of the traveling nannies, Jean and Grandma Karen. Oliver learned how to drink out of a big-boy bottle that night.....ask the nannies for details :)

Todd and cutie-pie Conner at the rehearsal dinner.

Matt, Jill and Kendall

Mike again trying to entertain (or scare?) Oliver
As usual, the big day began early for the bride and the bridesmaids.

Carrie getting help into her beautiful dress....

and the final touch of the Orange bow!

The guests arrived at the house and were seated on hay bails arranged at the ceremony site next to the creek that runs through the property.

The ceremony...

Bridesmaids: Kim, Shana, Kelly, Joslyn and Sue.

Officially Mr. and Mrs. Ian Wyatt!

Keenan and Todd....where ever did they find that fabulous white corderoy jacket and bow-tie?

Kendall and Oliver taking in the beautiful ceremony.

Inside the tent- of course, more orange!

Keenan checking on baby Conner.

Sue and Keenan playing in the yard.

Kristy and Seth Farber enjoying the fabulous cocktail hour.
Oliver was also enjoying the happy hour...there he goes double-fisting again!

And here come Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt....ready to party it up!

Such cute place cards....but who is Oliver StePHens?

The salmon is smoking and the lobster are grilling.

Conner, Kendall and Oliver all dressed up for the Big Party.

The Kirkland girls doing our (thank goodness!) final performance of Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now." This all stemmed from a lip-sync contest in the 6th grade!

Mike, Oliver, Todd, Conner, Matt and Kendall. Oliver's dad is the crazy one.

Kristy and Harvey being wall flowers.

As a wedding present, Ian had this beautiful painting of their Vermont home done for Carrie. Note that Ian is driving the John Deer and Carrie is picking flowers from their garden. Such a wonderful gift!

And yes, there really is a John Deer in the yard.

Carrie, Keenan and Sue at the 'day-after' BBQ.
After the BBQ we headed over college friends Brooke and Chris Gillman's house in Burlington for a wonderful dinner and some catching up.

Here they are will Lilly and Oliver.

Finally we were headed home. Here is Oliver in the airport....it was a long day- not sure what happened to the hair!

Mike's pilgramage
Mike is a happy man! We made a trip out to the Ben & Jerry's factory in Waterbury, Vermont and he is in hog heaven!
The ice cream Graveyard- the place where ice cream flavors of the past go to die and be remembered. There were some pretty silly flavors there including "Making Woopie Pie" and "Economic Crunch."

Kendall and Oliver enjoying some Ben and Jerry's!
