Fun with a box...

Today we had some fun with big box. With some crayons, a plastic plate, and some double stick tape - the ordinary box turned into a fast and safe school bus.

After we finished driving the bus - we played a bit of hide and seek.

Butcher Block

As many of you know - we've been in the midst of a kitchen remodel. This past week we had out newest countertop installed - butcher block. Here are a few new photos - we love it! More projects to come...

13 Months Old

August Adventures

August has brought the Stevens family many adventures - here are a few of them...

Many hours playing in the backyard including dips in the little pool, carrying the golf club around, and riding on the Kawasaki...vrrooooooommm.


We've also taken many trips down to the park. This was a trip with Grandma Joan and the cool wagon that Oliver received from her for his birthday!

We also attended Conner Dunfield's 1st birthday this month. Here is the birthday boy enjoying his cake.

Oliver and the Ladies on a hike

We're playing catch-up with the blog right now....

A few weeks ago, Kristy, Jill, little Kendall, Oliver and I went on a little hike up Tiger Mountain.

Almost to the top....OK, we didn't actually make it to the tip-top....naps and snacks limited our time (and, yes my thighs were burning!).

I have no excuse for the thigh-burning since Kristy hauled Oliver up half of the way!

Kendall was showing us why they named this mountain "Tiger" Mountain...Roar!

On the "Charisma" with the Shortens

A couple of weekends ago, we were invited to spend an afternoon boating with Vic and Tom Shorten on their boat, the "Charisma" out on the Sound.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Yesterday we celebrated Kelly's birthday over at her parents with Nancy, Scotty, Grandpa and Grandma Todd, and Grandma Joan. The traditional birthday dish of Peach Coffee Cake made an appearance, but its visit was cut short when Oliver devoured it!

A couple of weekends ago - the family made a visit over to Suncadia and Oliver took a liking to the golf balls and golf holes...we are so proud!
