Happy Birthday Mom!

Yesterday we celebrated Kelly's birthday over at her parents with Nancy, Scotty, Grandpa and Grandma Todd, and Grandma Joan. The traditional birthday dish of Peach Coffee Cake made an appearance, but its visit was cut short when Oliver devoured it!

A couple of weekends ago - the family made a visit over to Suncadia and Oliver took a liking to the golf balls and golf holes...we are so proud!

I found something in here...

With all the great weather we've been having - we made it to the beach with the Kruses.

more summer fun...

Below are some pictures of some recent fun summer activities...

Oliver is ready to go for a bike ride! He's got plenty of room to bring his duck, truck, and other toys along!

This has been a normal activity - especially of late! Oliver loves the pool and also playing with the hose. With it being 98 degrees in the upstair of the house - we find ourselves sitting around the pool a lot.

Many trips to parks - always a good time!

Those are cool glasses...

Random Photos

Last month Carrie and Ian came out to visit in the Seattle area and we were able to spend an afternoon with them out on Camino Island. Here is Carrie and Oliver holding hands.

There was a hammock that Oliver loved to hang out and swing in...

Daddy and Oliver kickin back.

Family photo...smile.

In June, we also had the whole Waypoint Outdoor team out for a meeting and spent a beautiful evening having a BBQ and playing some Bochee Ball.

The whole crew

For Mother's Day - I surprised Kelly with a nice big shinny mountain bike...what every girl dreams of for their first Mother's Day. It also was a great excuse to get myself a Father's Day gift.

We left Oliver with the Mondloch girls and went on a bike ride with Arnie. Bogey had a blast - we had fun too!

Swim Lessons

For the months of July and August, we are all participating in swim lessons at the Kirkland pool - 2 days a week. Although he's not doing hand stands yet on the bottom of the pool - he sure does love the water! Here he is with Kelly at the start of class getting used to the water once again...

Rubber Ducky - I'll save you!!!

I did it mommy - I saved the rubber ducky...

The water is so much fun! Can Bogey come next time?

Oliver's First Birthday Party!

Our little Oliver is turning One Year Old on Wednesday July 15th! It seems like just yesterday we were packing our bags for the hospital and getting ready to meet our little man. We have had a wonderful year and we also had a wonderful time celebrating his first year with friends and family at our house last weekend. The froggy theme for the party came from his monthly photos with the froggy stuffed animal.

Here is the big frog cake that I made for the party.

And of course, One big frog deserves many little froggy cupcakes too.

Party-goers, Tyler and Brett with the birthday boy.

Oliver found one present- a big stuffed Clifford from Grandma Joan.

Here is our little Evil-Kenevil riding his new 4-wheeler.

He's trying to be just like cousin Tanner.

Gavin looking a little chilly after taking a dip in the kiddy-pool.

Birds-eye view of the party and the back yard.

All the frogs together.

Here comes the cake!

Oliver was surprisingly gentle with the cake- no huge mess in the hair (unlike his mom's first birthday cake).
Once he tasted all that sugar he was a happy camper!

Another party-girl, Riley.

And, cute little brother Blaine.

Great Grandpa Dan and Great Aunt Sue

Opening all of the wonderful presents- he LOVED everything!

Uncle Steve, Great Uncle Steve and Grandpa enjoying their beer. Oliver shares his birthday (one day apart) with Uncle Steve (Kelly's brother). You'll see his birthday cake that I also made at the end of this post.

Miss Kendall enjoying the party in her cute party dress.

Special guest from Portland, Ella Brown getting a smooch from her mommy, Haley. What a treat it was to have Ella make the trip up to Seattle for Oliver's big day!

Conner playing in Oliver's new ball pit.

We're getting Oliver trained early on yard care.

Great Grandpa Dan, Oliver and Mommy.

Hayden just can't believe how much fun he is having!

Check out the engine on this thing...

"What do you think Hayden? Can we give it more power?"

And then there was the 32nd Birthday party for Uncle Steve....he of course, got a special extra-large froggy cup cake. This is when the REAL party began!

Celebrating with Uncle Steve.
We'll probably find a few more pics and maybe some videos to post soon! Stay tuned!
